ActivHealth has been involved in the Mental Health, specifically children’s Cognitive Health for more than 25 years. In that span of time, we see increasing research that elevates hope and knowledge of what we can do to help Learning and Behavioural conditions. This knowledge is not positive to some and seen as “not happening in my space.” So, this Mental Health month, we would like to reflect on the positive moments.
Reflecting on positive moments can really uplift our spirits. @ActivHealh, we launch a range of Herbaland Rest & Relax range to celebrate the positive moments in life. Aisha Yang of Herbaland radiates an uplifting positivity the first time I met her, an encouragement to promote the positive side of mental wellbeing.
Whether it is a special trip, a meaningful conversation, a good night of rest or simply a day spent with loved ones, those memories can bring warmth and joy. Do you have a particular moment or experience to share or reminisce about? Share it to make another’s day brighter?
- Gratitude:Recall the feelings of situations and people that you are grateful for each day helps you to Calm Naturally. They can be big or small—like a helping hand in times of need, a kind gesture from a friend or stranger, a beautiful sunrise /sunset, happy moments with a loved one.
- Memory Reflection: It is a blessing to be able to recall specific happy memories. Close your eyes and immerse yourself in the details: sights, sounds, and feelings associated with that moment.
- Sharing:Talk to a friend or loved one. Share positive experiences. This can reinforce those happy memories and deepen your connections. Like Calm and Chill
- Photo Album: Create a digital or physical album filled with photos that represent joyful times/favourite people in your life. Flip through it whenever you need a boost.
- Mindfulness Practice: Engage in mindfulness that focuses on gratitude. Accept what you cannot Change and Change what you Can. Take one minute to breathe deeply and acknowledge the good things in your life.
- Quality Sleep:Rejuvenate your mental wellbeing with quality sleep @ Sweet Dreams
- Acts of Kindness: Performing small acts of kindness can elevate your mood and create positive moments for others, reinforcing a cycle of gratitude and joy.
- Nature Connection: Spend time in nature and appreciate its beauty. Reflect on how nature has brought you peace or joy in the past.
Recalling positive moments and practicing gratitude are powerful tools for enhancing mental well-being. Cultivating those moments and feelings, certainly help me appreciate Life and God in all its glory, turning stressful moments into hope and positivity. Life has beautiful moments, let us celebrate them together for a more mindful society.
